ClipboardKeyboard prioritizes your privacy above all else. This Privacy Policy outlines our commitment to protecting your data.
Data Collection and Storage
Secure On-Device Storage: All of your text clips, links, and snippets are stored securely on your device. Your data never leaves your phone and is never uploaded to any external servers.
No Tracking: ClipboardKeyboard does not include any analytics, telemetry, or third‑party tracking frameworks. Your clipboard history is yours alone.
App Groups: The app uses standard iOS App Group storage to seamlessly share your clipboard history across the main app, the custom keyboard, and the share extension, strictly on your local device.
Clipboard Access: When Auto-Import is on (the default), the app reads your current clipboard text each time you open it and adds it to your history on your device. iOS may ask for permission before the app pastes from another app. You can turn Auto-Import off at any time in the app's SYNC screen; the clipboard is then read only when you tap Import Current Clipboard.
Keyboard Full Access: The custom keyboard asks for “Allow Full Access” only so it can read the clipboard history shared with the main app. The keyboard does not record what you type and never sends your text or clips anywhere.
Subscriptions and Purchases
ClipboardKeyboard offers an optional Pro subscription. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, payment details, or Apple ID. The app only checks with Apple whether your subscription is active, so it can unlock Pro features. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime: open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
Information Sharing
Because we do not collect or store your data off-device, we do not have any information to share with third parties.
